I had read that kitties sometimes don't drink enough water, and that can lead to kidney problems. Plus, the little flower on top of the water fountain was really cute. But, let me tell you what is just stinking adorable- watching my two kitties drink more water than they EVER did in a still bowl. seriously, what's cuter than watching a kitty drink from a fountain? IDK. You tell me. Cuz this is pretty cute.
We have to refresh it often because they're always drinking from it. They love it, and so of course we love it, too.

I have not had a cat jump up on the sink to drink from the trickling tap since I got this! (I kind of miss that.) My cats love this waterer, all 5 of them. The Pug is not so sure, but that's OK. He would probably mess it up.
It doesn't make a sound until the water gets low, so that soft "trickle" is my signal to clean it and refill it. It is very easy to clean, and though it never seems to be dirty or slimy, I use the very nice included brushes everywhere, anyway. Personally, I rinse/back-flush the filter and reuse it 2 or 3 times.
With experts pointing to rising feline kidney problems from eating dry kibble (see catinfo.org) I love how they are attracted to this waterer. I believe they are drinking more water because of it. I also feed them Sheba or another canned food that's low in carbs, but they still want kibble. I feed Origen, the very best kibble, but it is still dryer than what cats were designed to eat. They need all the water they will drink!

I would give this ten stars if I could!! This design keeps the water so clean every time I take it apart I’m shocked! It’s only a little louder when the water gets low which I don’t mind because it reminds me to fill it. It’s so much easier than a regular bowl that needs filled every few days.
My kitty was having recurring health problems after a $500 surgery, several $50 trips to the vet, plus $40 a month for prescription diet food I didn’t know what else to do. She refuses to eat wet food and I bought this to try to increase the moisture in her diet and let me tell you how well this worked.. She drinks so much more water now and is so happy and healthy. Her personality has even changed to be more outgoing and affectionate and 0 problems or vet visits since we started using this!! I am so relieved and happy with my purchase, it was worth every cent!!

It was not uncommon for me to find his water bowl empty at the end of day because my kids did not check it regularly. This fountain takes care of that worry.

This is a great product for any cat or a dog that is a finicky drinker that’s giving you a hard time drinking water or is picky*
At first she was like “what the heck is this?” but she got used to it and my other cat as well.....she's Really why I got it because she doesn’t like to drink water out of the bowl but likes to drink out of the faucet so I thought this was the best solution and it turned out to be the best solution for her,,,she drinks more water and she’s more hydrated.This is a must for any pet owner and on top of it has a cute little nightlight, can’t go wrong with lol and Matt.Happy Kitty

Cats like fresh, moving water. This has a filter, a pump and even a night light. We only need to add water maybe once a week and it always looks clean and fresh, unlike any of our former drinking bowls. The unit requires cleaning once every 2 weeks, which I am doing for the first time today. It comes with 2 handy cleaning brushes (pictures attached) and several filters, which you can rewash several times before replacing. I had another fountain unit that I did not clean very often and the pump gets clogged if you wait too long. It also did not have filters so the water would get dirty after awhile. If we care about our pets we will clean and refresh all the parts of the fountain regularly. This is a far better fountain than I have had before so I think it is well worth it.

OK when I received this I thought it was gonna be super small because it's a fairly small box but boy was I wrong! Everything is stuffed inside the container so this puppy holds quite a bit of water vertically versus horizontally. I purchased it to replace a Drink Well fountain that I have in the garage for a few ferals and while that one worked ok, there was no real easy way to tell when I had to refill unless I opened the garage door or heard the motor running dry But with this model (I also own a Wonder Creature Lotus) all I have to do is peep in the window and I can tell by the built in light color. When the water goes below the minimum level it starts to blink red (I saw this for the 1st time today since I set it up a little over a week ago), and stops working so I don't have to worry about burning out the motor if I don't get to it fast enough Also love the stainless steel top...much cleaner than the Drink Well for multiple cats! Truly a great product.
