As you can see from the picture I have a persian cat with extremely thick hair. This tool works fantastic. I take him to a professional groomer but he gets matted very quickly in between appointments. This tool helped me remove some of the mats and give him a de-shed all over comb. I was nervous at first since it has blades in it but it is so safe and my cat purrs when I use it even when on a mat.

This works!!! We have a long hair black cat who's hair tangles and knots up. He also has horrible anxiety problems! So taking him to a groomer was out of the question. I was able to comb all through his hair. He purred and rolled over. I think he is incredibly grateful to have the knots gone. I imagine they hurt and pull at his skin. Update!!! Is it possible for something to be too good?!! Our cat still loves it!

We have a long haired cat and we have been brushing her daily with a regular brush(which she didn't like). We were starting to get mats though and I wanted something to help cut them out. I had a three-blade style dematting comb, but it was too much work and it was only making the cat upset. On a whim I picked this tool and I love it. I haven't seen this much fur/hair on an animal since I helped a friend brush her Husky. Attached is a picture of the first few minutes of brushing. The brush has two sides to it, one has 9 bladed teeth and the other has 17. The picture is from just the 9 teeth side on the first pass. The volume of fur coming out was crazy and after I took the picture I used the other side of the brush and pulled out almost as much again. The cat, who hates to be brushed normally, loves this rake. Now every other day I bring out the rake and she is happy to be groomed. Now I pull a little bit of fur each day, but she is already much happier and her fur is much better.

I'm new to the pet grooming game and I recently rescued a Persian cat of which needs constant grooming. He came with some matting and I tried scissors and even pet hair clippers but was afraid I'd cut his skin. This tool worked as advertised and myself and my cat Fatty are very pleased.

Where has this brush been all my life. I was in shock when I went to purchase this brush on a recommendation from a friend. I could not Imagen paying that much for a brush. But I did, and I would do it again in a second. My poodle has never looked better. Her hair is at least an 1in long and this brush gets down to her undercoat to detangle. It also makes her super fluffy and soft. It gives her a blown out look. I just can't explain how much I love this brush!! I posted a before and after picture. The difference in these pictures is not that huge but I literally brushed for for less than 5 min and did nothing to her head. Most of the time to even get that much fluff I would have to brush for 10-15 min!

his brush works AMAZING! We have a cat who has been shedding in the Texas heat and this thing is a life saver!! I don’t ever write reviews, but I am so impressed with this brush that I had to!!
